**About the role**

The Payment Solutions Team are specialists in helping and supporting our customers experiencing financial difficulties. We believe in a practical and achievable approach that is fair for all parties.

With a multitude of teams covering both inbound and outbound contact, as well as supporting our external debt collection agencies, we aim to help our customers in line with our department vision:

**What you’ll do**
- Management of lapsed accounts - Review and determine which accounts to batch to DCA's, continued review of the accounts and liaising with DCA to ensure the smooth journey through the recovery process.
- Answering and raising queries to and from the DCA regarding accounts - Updated balances, meter issues, additional requirements etc.
- Also to manage records of the accounts, ensuring that they are kept up to date and accurate at all times.
- Own the lapsed DCA inboxes and make sure we respond in a timely manner.
- Providing feedback and updates to the department, regarding action and any changes taking place.
- Working alongside and providing cover for the Fund Administrators to provide support and back up, with the allocation of funds to accounts and ledger reconciliation. Assisting with checking that accounts meet the required criteria, raising queries to CAB as well as answering queries from them. Assisting and providing cover with the Insolvency work, reviewing accounts that have been reported as bankrupt or having gone through a DRO or IVA. Will be required to review supporting documentation with the mind to accept or refuse. Allocation of funds, new account creation and on occasions some outbound calling.

**About you**
- Confident in making outbound calls, as this may be required at time
- Can be flexible and has the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Ambitious and willing to accept new challenges.
- Has experience in the reconciliation of payments

**Minimum requirements**
- Experience required in ledger reconciliation and management
- Experience in queries management
- Proven experience in 3rd party relationship management
- Must have worked in a collections based environment
