Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Credit Manager to join our team and take ownership of our collections activity.
Credit Management
  • Perform daily credit control activities via telephone, letter and email in line with agreed collection cycle and whilst maintaining accurate activity records.
  • Manage litigation cases as required.
  • Complete administration forms as needed.
  • Update customer records with direct debit mandates.
  • Process daily direct debit collections and cash allocation.
  • Manage customer queries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain credit management processes and procedures in line with FCA requirements.
Administration Support
  • Assist in internal and external audit as required.
Collaboration and Development
  • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure key deliverables are achieved.
  • Support the development of processes and procedures through proactive feedback and challenge.

Key Requirements:

  • 5 years+ experience in credit control in a business-to-business environment.
  • Knowledge of leasing and financial services is advantageous, including working knowledge of the FCA regulatory environment.
  • GCSE English and maths grades B or above.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Team player with excellent engagement skills.

Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum based on experience.
