The Express Solutions Group is formed of several companies, Express Drainage Solutions, Express Hydro Solutions, Express Drainage Surveys, Frontline Environmental Services and Express Commercial Drainage. Each company has a different dedicated focus to ensure a varied and bespoke service that covers all our customers’ needs - regardless of scope or scale.

We are looking for an experienced and hands on accounts assistant to start immediately. This role will suit a proactive individual, who takes pride in their work and strive to achieve great result. The relevant training will be provided at the start. However, due the business needs, the role can only be offered to those with experience in finance department, supported by aptitude in relevant software and qualifications.

**About the role**:
The role is all-round Account Assistant position, with exposure to all functions of the department, working closely with the Financial Controller.

**Role/ Responsibilities**:

- Accurate recording and processing of supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Inputting sales invoices onto Sage and carrying sales reconciliations
- Dealing with queries professionally and effectively
- Monitoring authorisation of purchase invoices and business expenses
- Setting up new suppliers and customers’ accounts ensuring completeness of data
- Reviewing aged creditors and debtors’ reports
- Credit Control
- Bank Reconciliations
- General administration within the finance department
- Assisting Financial Controller with any ad hoc projects

**Skills & Experience**:
We are looking for individuals with the following skills and experience:

- self-motivated with proactive attitude
- Experience of using Sage 50
- Accuracy/attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proficient use of Excel
- Good communications skills
- Can work as part of a team as well as independently
- AAT Level 2/3 preferred
- At least 1-year experience in accounts office
