BramahHR are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled HR professional to join our small and welcoming HR team. In this busy and diverse role, you will be responsible for supporting all people matters at our firm. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing recruitment, managing employee relations, handling payroll processing, coordinating work experience and careers fairs, issuing employment terms, and ensuring the welfare of new starters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recruitment: You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, including liaising with agencies, creating compelling job adverts, and attending interviews.
- Employee Relations: You will support case management activities related to sickness absence, disciplinary issues, grievances, and performance. Additionally, you will provide advice on various employee relations matters.
- Payroll Processing: You will manually collate, process, and submit monthly payroll data to our external payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Work Experience and Careers Fairs: You will coordinate work experience opportunities and participate in careers fairs to promote our firm as an employer of choice.
- Employment Terms and Conditions: Issuing terms and conditions of employment and managing contract variations will be part of your responsibilities.
- New Starters Welfare: You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding and welfare of new employees, making them feel welcome and supported.

Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience as an HR Advisor or in an equivalent role.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR practices.
- Proven expertise in HR generalist skills, particularly in performance management and absence management.
- Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Ability to confidently communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and external agencies.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law, statutory legislation, and best practices.
- Strong ability to work well under pressure, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage your workload.
