At B&Q we have a hybrid approach to working to increase flexibility in when and where we work. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday. For this role we are looking for someone to be able to work from our head office 3 days a week

**Key responsibilities**

We are looking for colleagues to join B&Q, the UK’s leading home improvement retailer on our HR careers programme. You’ll be joining a fast paced, progressive HR team with plenty of opportunity for future career development and progression. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop within our large HR function, with an induction to include working in our stores, visiting distribution centres as well as meeting several key HR and non-HR stakeholders.

Our HR Careers Programme is c36-months, where you will gain a professional HR qualification (CIPD Level 3-5) plus an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, alongside gaining a real breadth of relevant work experience and essential soft skills and behaviours training across HR disciplines. There will be plenty of support along the way in the shape of your development from your peer group, line manager and mentor.

We will provide you with varied rotational roles to support your professional qualification effectively, which could include working within the Resourcing and Attraction team, Talent, HR Operations, Business Partnering, Learning & Development and Employee Relations. The skills you will develop include talent management, recruitment, coaching, business partnering, developing learning solutions, analysis of HR data and administrative support. You will also develop strong communication, prioritisation and presentation skills, as well as a good understanding of the B&Q business.
