Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business and have significant impact across the lifecycle of a trade. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with our external client base, playing a key role in the overall client experience. We have a Client relationship group, dedicated to overseeing the Organizational service performance and strategic partnership for our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first-class experience when doing business with Citi.

Our Business Intelligence and Process Re-engineering group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. We partner with Citi’s innovation labs to drive optimization, and overall play a pivotal role in enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model.

**Job Purpose**:
The Prime Finance Middle Office role is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in customer related activities and providing resolutions in coordination with the Customer Service team. The overall objective of this role is to address external customer issues and provide ongoing customer service support.

**Job Background/context**:
Prime Finance Middle Office supports Securities Lending & Prime Brokerage Business, across CGML, CGME and CGMI, and is part of the overall Prime Finance Business unit.

The department consists of the following core areas, Control, Trade Handling, Client Service, Exposure Management and Payments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performing key processes and functions for the Stock Lending and Prime Brokerage Middle Office Control team.
- Support to both the Regional & Global Product Head of Prime Finance Middle Office.
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Prime Business in London and EMEA clients, acts as a trusted advisor on operational matters.
- Monitor emerging operational best practices in the Industry; determine what is required to create competitive advantage in support of Securities lending & Prime Brokerage Business.
- Implementation of policies and controls within the unit and ensure staff are aware of their obligations.
- Leads benchmarking and process improvement initiatives to improve controls and make processes more efficient and transparent.
- Identify opportunities for automation and straight-through-processing, working in partnership with Technology
- Contribution and preparation of high quality materials for business reviews, project meetings, including proactive follow-up of actions to closure.
- Analysis of progress against strategic and financial objectives, and drive corrective actions where required
- Manage ad hoc requirements in a pressurized environment.
