Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business and have significant impact across the lifecycle of a trade. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal,Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with our external client base, playing a key role in the overall client experience. We have a Client relationship group, dedicated to overseeing the Organizational service performance and strategic partnershipfor our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first-class experience when doing business with Citi.
Our Business Intelligence and Process Re-engineering group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. We partner with Citi's innovation labs to drive optimization, and overall play a pivotal rolein enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model.
Our roles entail ensuring we operate in a robust control environment, whilst in a fast-paced workplace. **Role Overview**
The Transaction Capture Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to various securities related functions, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this roleis to support traders, maintain position records, and improve process efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading and act as an advisor or coach to new or junior staff
- Have in depth knowledge of the Structured Notes Front to back flows including the interplay with IPA and clearing houses
- Exhibit knowledge of Structured Notes payoffs, understand key risks, and have knowledge and experience in implementing controls for a growing business
- Maintain position records in coordination with the traditional trading desk assistant and / or trade processing functions
- Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts
- Directly impact the area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and formulation of procedures/process improvement
- Identify control deficiencies, resolve issues and escalate control gaps and issues to senior management when appropriate
- Conduct discovery and due diligence activities with clients to solve complex client queries
- Provide informal/formal leadership for the team, and coach and train new recruits, and provide guidance and support to junior staff

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a related role
- Relevant Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
