**Salary**:Starting salary £21,000.00

**Location**: Exeter (hybrid working - working from home two days per week, with the other three days in the Exeter office)

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with 1 hour lunch break

Well, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our ever-growing team as a Social Media Executive.

The Marketing Account Executive will report back to the Digital Director and liaise with both clients and the internal team on a regular basis to ensure delivery is of a high standard and meets expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with Account Managers to deliver client campaigns and projects that meet the client’s brief and budget and deliver against objectives
- Contributing creative ideas to campaigns/projects
- Distributing media releases to the media and keeping the media contact lists up to date
- Administration task such as daily media checks
- Creating meaningful and engaging content for social media
- Engaging with target markets and stakeholders via social media channels
- Updating content on client websites
- Researching and disseminating community news/events
- Attending client and team meetings, when required
- We will encourage you to notify your line manager of learning/training/ skills development opportunities that could be beneficial to the business and your own professional development

**Person Specification**

**Essential**:

- Social media experience
- Excellent general writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- _Attention to detail_
- Knowledge of all social media platforms
- Ability to travel to main Exeter office (at least once per month if based in Cheltenham office)

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the retail or leisure industries
- Willingness to travel within the UK on occasion
- To support the wider team with social media cover where required
