**Job Role** Charity Administrator

**Job hours**: 25 hours per week - Saturdays will be part of the working week.

**Responsible to**:Head of Food Services

**Starting Salary**:£11.50 per hour

Happydays UK are an expanding charity supporting adults that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Happydays are looking for an organised individual with excellent skills in Microsoft 365. You will be proactive and able to adapt to an ever-changing environment that can be challenging but highly rewarding. We have received funding to expand our Food Services to support even more people who are suffering food poverty.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Provide administration support for the Head of Food Services and Head of operations.
- Be part of the subgroup for 2 exciting new projects, a Community Supermarket and a Food Warehouse and Distribution Hub
- Provide administration support for the Head of Food Services and the Head of Operations
- Be face to face with our food bank clients on our Saturday food bank clients and accurately inputting data in line with GDPR, confirming eligibility and feeding back to the stakeholders
- Provide an audit trail for any charity expenditure in relation to food service.
- Liase with contractors and schedule works with the support of the Head of Food Services
- Be proficient in Microsoft 365
- Take minutes at trustee meetings

- Develop and maintain secure legal HR and health and safety documents
- Assist in developing and managing charity policies and producers
- Assistant with the admin and recruitment, selection induction and recording of employment and training
- Filing documents for all departments of the charity.
- Ordering office supplies
- Responsible for tracking and recording the training and development expectations for all our Food Services employees to ensure we have a high standard of food hygiene and health and safety.
- Developing and maintaining data collection processes for the food services.
- Support the donations co-ordinator in developing and overseeing the donation process.
- Attend the networking forums

**Please note this is not a full and exhaustive list of duties and the post holder will be required to undertake additional tasks in order to conduct this role appropriately and effectively.**

As travel will be necessary as part of this role it is essential you will have your own vehicle, hold a full driving licence and be insured for work purposes

Your will be required to undertake Safeguarding Level 2 training within one week of commencing the role which will be provided by Happydays UK.
