Occupational Health Specialist

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive administration and transactional service, including resource management, contract management, medical records, reception duties, document management, and general administrative support to the Occupational Health team.

**What will I be doing as an Occupational Health Administrator?**
- Supporting the Occupational Health Manager to deliver a high-quality occupational health service
- Providing excellent administrative support, including managing appointments, maintaining medical records, and preparing reports.
- Liaising with employees, managers, and external providers to coordinate appointments and ensure a smooth flow of information
- Daily contact with the Occupational Health Manager, Occupational Health Advisors, Nurses and Technicians on appointment bookings.
- Regular contact with Managers and external agencies, including NHS, GP, specialists, Consultants, Physio, Counselling, Opticians, and others in relation to procedural issues.
- Supporting the delivery of health promotion initiatives, such as wellbeing campaigns and training events and health surveillance programmes.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Occupational Health service by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous experience working in an Occupational Health role or a similar field, with excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of information accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
- A good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including data protection and health and safety.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
