About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at the NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy rehabilitation intervention for patients on our neuro rehabilitation unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced occupational therapy assessments of patients with complex physical and psychological conditions.
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment programs using advanced clinical reasoning skills.
  • Manage a defined area of the service, working autonomously and without direct supervision.
  • Supervise, educate, and assess students, assistants, and junior staff.
  • Provide specialized advice to other healthcare professionals in the clinical area.
  • Contribute to evidence-based audit and research projects to further develop clinical practice and service development.

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Relevant accredited courses or experience to equivalent level.
  • HCPC registration (or to be completed within next 6 months).
  • Variety of post-graduate experience in core clinical areas (min 1 year).
  • Evidence of a range of CPD activities associated with clinical area of post.
