Chichester College Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an **Assessor Trainer in Equine**at our Brinsbury Campus. You will join us on a **variable hours basis**. In return, we will offer a competitive hourly rate of **£12.58 - £13.75 per hour**.

**The Chichester College Group**is the largest provider of further education in Sussex and is comprised of 5 Colleges based at Chichester, Crawley, Worthing, Haywards Heath, and Brinsbury near Pulborough which is land-based. **Key Responsibilities of our Assessor Trainer in Equine**:

- Support the development of learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours throughout their programme.
- Collaborate with colleagues and employers to meet learners’ needs and achieve their potential.
- Effectively participate in, and comply with, all admininistrative aspects of awarding body requirements where required, alongside the College Quality Assurance and Evaluation processes.
- Ensure the learners’ timely completion of their training and qualifications in partnership with employers.

**Our ideal Assessor Trainer in Equineshould have the below skills and experience**:

- Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
- Level 3 Assessor Award (TAQA or equivalent)
- Level 3 Teaching Award in Education
- Coaching and/or Mentoring award
- Relevant and recent vocational experience in the relevant industry sector
- Experience of using a range of assessment techniques to prepare learners for timely End-point assessment
- Experience of interpreting, developing and delivering training sessions
- Working knowledge of the relevant vocational area
- Up to date knowledge of the sector
- Up to date knowledge of Prevent and Equality and Diversity
