Working throughout the Greater Manchester community, Foundation 92 is proud to deliver a wide and diverse range of high quality, high impact, sustainable health improvement, education, physical education, and inclusion provision, which enables members of the community to lead healthy, positive and progressive lifestyles.
Given the recent growth of Foundation 92’s Community engagement department, Foundation 92 is looking to appoint a dedicated, committed and highly experienced Community Club Engagement Officer who will both lead and directly deliver Foundation 92’s far reaching and engaging programmes within the City of Salford.
The post holder will take direct responsibility for the following thematic themes which currently feature within Foundation 92’s Media and Engagement Team;
- Community Engagement and Development
- Community Engagement and Social inclusion programmes.
- Salford City FC Heritage and Modern-Day vision.
The post holder must possess qualifications relevant to the diversity of this role, including relevant experience of the design, development and implementation of community-based engagement and improvement programmes.
There will be an expectation for the post holder to be flexible in their approach to work, including the requirement to attend, coordinate and take direct responsibility at all Salford City FC fixtures and matchday operations on behalf of the charity.
All postholders will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS clearance prior to the commencement of employment.
The postholder must possess a clean, UK Driving License and have access to a car.
**The main responsibilities of post holders are as follows;**
- To design, develop and deliver a range of high-quality education and awareness raising workshops and programmes in local Salford Educational settings around key engagement themes.
- Take responsibility and manage the end-to-end delivery of Foundation 92 and Salford City FC’s home matchday activities, including the Matchday Hub and ball assistants.
- Take responsibility for the running of Foundation 92’s pre match engagement opportunities and promotional programmes including Little Lions, Team of the week and My Special Day.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including charity partners, grassroot football/sports teams, educational settings, and community groups.
- Maintain and grow relationships with local under represented communities.
- To support and work in conjunction with Salford City FC Soul of Salford’s objectives.
- Maintain a direct link between Foundation 92 and Salford City FC to maintain and exceed all joint objectives.
- Arrange player visits in the community with Salford City FC.
- To support wider Foundation 92 programmes and provisions linked to Salford City FC.
- To support the Foundation 92 Marketing and Media team.
- To proactively and strategically promote both Foundation 92, Salford City FC and local partners’ wider engagement opportunities, enabling children, young people and adults to access ongoing provision.
- To work with and support service users and fan groups to identify and overcome barriers to participation amongst target audiences, through the development of positive and beneficial working relationships with service users.
- Take direct responsibility for collation of impact data which will form an integral part of partner reporting.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and development of positive relationships, partners and stakeholders, ensuring each programme is delivered as impactfully as possible in line with Foundation 92/ Salford City FC aims and objectives.
- Work diligently and proactively with the Foundation 92’s Head of Media and Engagement to develop new activities, workshops and engagement opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed EFL Family Excellence scheme award.
- Develop and deliver excellent customer focused projects.
- Support fan experience activity to increase fan attendance and broaden our supporter base.
