Salary shown is based is between 10.50 - 11.50 (Dependent upon experience and qualifications)

We are seeking residential care workers to join our experienced team at our well-established OFSTED registered homes located across the East London region. We are looking for you to join us in making a positive impact on the lives of the young people in our care.

The children in our care are between 8-18 years of age and have a range of complex needs - which may include emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will be asked to work alongside qualified care givers and clinicians in homely settings.

Example of our shifts:
Three week rolling rota shared equally between the team, this will consist of a mixture of earlys, late's and sleeps of 24hour shifts

There is of course some flexibility and our managers know how important a good work life balance is for their team. Having every third weekend off and splitting up the Saturday and Sunday shifts for a work life balance.
- **Duties**:

- Providing transport for the young people to access different provisions
- Helping the young people access education
- Household duties
- Paperwork
- Days out (e.g. social events, shopping, cinema, swimming)
- Contacts, visit, key work meeting and therapy sessions
- Offering guidance, support and structure to their everyday lives

The day can be very unpredictable and quite easily you could spend the entire afternoon providing 1:1 support managing extremely challenging behaviour, the right type of person needs to be flexible, adaptable and able to read situations and help our young people make positive choices.

- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or equivalent
- 12 months experience working in a residential setting - desirable

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
