You’ll be working within a true engineering consultancy business; low volume race car production and prestige classic car restorations are just some of their specialities. With many exciting projects on the go they are looking to add to their growing team with a production coordinator. This is a permanent position which comes with benefits such as pension, healthcare, life assurance and even have access to their on-site gym.

As the production coordinator, you’ll take ownership of the ERP system for your individual projects by filtering out any foreseeable issues to prevent stoppages in the build process and also by utilising their internal manufacturing capabilities. You will have frequent daily contact with both purchasing, who will supply the demand and the Production teams, who you will be supplying the materials and goods to. You will have line management responsibility for a BoM controller who will be supporting you in your role and in turn you’ll help their learning and development. This role will have technical support from the engineering teams for the intricate factors of the projects, the focus of this role is for a forward thinking, self-starter, who excels isn’t afraid to get stuck in

Suitable experience for this position will come from previous planning or controller roles within manufacturing operations. They are the definition of fast paced as their projects are often 1 off’s so they need someone who will thrive in that environment and be self-motivated. They are predominantly in the Automotive industry, but any type of low volume manufacturing experience could be applicable. Their ERP system is called Siteline, but as long as you are a competent user any type of ERP software will be considered.
