**About the role.**

The Technical Assistant post is in our Fleet Services department based at Park Road Depot. The key roles of our team include to ensure vehicle compliance, provide excellent customer service and support to all departments requiring fleet vehicles.

You will be required to plan scheduled servicing, MOT/Plating testing and other maintenance in accordance with the procedures of the computerised fleet management system.

You will be part of a multi functioning team who all work together to provide a valued service, keeping our fleet safely in operation.

**You must have**
- Knowledge of transport related activities
- Experience of using and maintaining computer based systems, including financial systems
- The ability to demonstrate good levels of literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience of communicating effectively with all levels of staff and customers
- The ability to manage your own workload and use initiative
- A full UK driving licence
- A willing to undertake appropriate training relevant to the post
