**Department purpose**

Our coordinated business development, marketing and communication teams contribute to the setting and achievement of the firm’s business objectives, which includes improving our client relationships, increasing the visibility of the firm globally, and supporting our partners and associates in their pursuit of becoming our clients’ trusted advisers.

**What you will do**

The Client Relationship Assistant will support the Private Capital Group’s global priority client programme.

The primary responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:

- Market and client research:_
- Research and analysis of clients, targets, and competitors to tailor marketing and client relationship activities and support client account planning.
- Documentation and reporting:_
- Supporting with the preparation of client-facing documentation and reports including, but not limited to: client relationship brochures, management information (MI) reports, management information reports, client presentations, value-add reports and contact cards.
- Developing and distributing internal communication for the global client team and within the firm (e.g. disseminating client-specific market intelligence, internal updates, financial reports etc).
- Data collation and management:_
- Producing client-related research and analysis including: client strategy, client structures, financial performance, key contact mapping, competitor activity, developments in the client's markets and client needs analysis (to help identify leads and opportunities), monthly reporting on client financial performance, recent relationship activity, pitches, meetings etc.
- Collecting and coordinating various client information globally.
- Maintaining client information on A&O’s internal systems to ensure it is kept up-to-date (e.g. secondment trackers, activity trackers, client snapshot pages on the intranet).

**What you will have**
- Graduate with a strong academic background, preferably in Marketing/Business, or with equivalent work experience.
- Good organisational and administration skills/ability to multi-task.
- Enthusiastic, pro-active, persistent, robust, commitment to "getting the job done".
- Ability to process and analyse business data and research.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and generate ideas.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to drive through tasks to completion.
- Team player.

**Additional information - External**
- This role is based in the A&O Belfast office, with an onsite presence required in line with our hybrid working policy
