You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of specific projects for the Ultra, Energy business to ensure contractual compliance and ethical standards are applied in our dealings with customers and stakeholders.

The Commercial Officer is directly responsible to the Head of Commercial for providing effective and efficient contract management and administrative support to the business and will need to comply with Ultra, Energy (UE) financial procedures and commercial processes, as well as meeting commitments to customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the UE sales and project teams, prepare and submit legally sound, commercially competitive bids, quotations and proposals to satisfy customer enquiries.- Negotiate commercial contracts and customer supply agreements in support of UE business sales opportunities.- Receive customer purchase orders / contracts and match them to UE business proposals and quotations. Co-ordinate and complete commercial contract reviews. Enter and manage customer sales and project data on the business management ERP system (Costpoint) and other associated business databases.- Create and maintain accurate commercial documentation, records and Costpoint data.- Processing of customer orders and the production of project sales invoices in a timely, accurate and effective manner.- Liaise with other business functions (i.e. sales, projects, operations, finance, quality etc.) to assist in the smooth running of customer projects.- Attendance at internal / external meetings as required to support business unit / customer demands.- Provide on-going Commercial contract support to the rest of the UE business functions as directed by the Head of Commercial and the commercial management of specific customer supply and service delivery contracts.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Experience of working in a busy commercial / administrative team.- Good attention to detail, with the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately.- Commercially aware, with a good understanding of the role of the finance and sales functions.- Proficient in the use of MS Office products and ideally a financial accounting / ERP system.- A team player, with a professional attitude and approach to their work.- Quick to adapt and learn new working practices, procedures, processes and systems.- Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks and make decisions.- Good verbal, written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential- Customer focused.

Essential Functions:
- Hybrid working with office at the Wimborne site, and occasional travel within the UK to visit customers.- Able to obtain national security clearance to SC level.- Holder of a full UK driving licence
