Airbus Helicopters is the world’s largest helicopter manufacturer and the company’s site at Oxford Airport is Britain’s civil helicopter hub.

AHUK is the MoD’s chosen provider of helicopters and maintenance for its No. 1 Helicopter Flying school (referred to as MFTS) located in RAF Shawbury (Shropshire) and RAF Valley (Anglesey).

**Description/Overall purpose of the Job**

We are looking for an Offers Intern to join the Offers Team within the Commercial Department.

The Offers team is responsible for developing and producing commercial and military offers for helicopter sales, retrofit, helicopter training and major campaigns. We work closely with the Sales, Design and Production teams as well as with external suppliers and customers.

The Role mainly consists of:

- supporting the Head of Offers in implementing new tools and processes to improve the ways of working of the Offers Team.
- Taking the lead of the 3D Database to continue to develop the rendering capabilities using Blender, and expending any capabilities

The Role offers a wide variety of experiences into the design, development, and manufacture of Airbus’ class-leading Helicopters, as well as an understanding of the commercial and financial exposure in the support of the Offers Processes.

You will interface with all levels within AHUK and the wider Airbus organisation, from shop floor through to Senior Management.

**Main responsibilities**
- Support the Head of Offers and Offers team in creating and implementing new processes and tools with the commercial and wider teams.
- Lead the 3D capabilities of the Offers Team using mainly Blender.

**Knowledge and Skills**

**_Essential _**
- Being currently enrolled with a UK University within a Technical or Commercial degree.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Desire to learn and contribute to the success of Airbus Helicopters UK.

**_Desirable _**
- Existing knowledge of 3D tools - Not specifically Blender.
- Existing knowledge of coding - Not specifically VBA and AppsScript.

**Education, Qualifications or Training**

**_Essential _**
- Excellent MS Office capabilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (GSheet, GDocs).

**Additional requirements**
- Due to the nature of this position you will be required to obtain DBS Security Clearance
