**NHS Administrator | Washington | Entry level | Permanent | 37.5 hours | £9.90 per hour**
Spire Washington has a wonderful entry level opportunity for someone with strong computer skills and customer service background, to join us as an NHS Administrator.
**The hours will be worked between 9 am to 5 pm '“ Monday to Friday.**
We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an NHS Administrator to join our team on a permanent and full-time basis. Working closely with our NHS Contracts Manager, your key responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and efficient administrative support in a high-volume environment. Due to the high number of appointments the hospital completes this is a busy, fast paced role that requires meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
**The role requires**:
- To be responsible for taking referrals from the eReferral (Choose and Book) system, organizing clinical triage, outpatient appointment time and date, local hospital trust waiting lists ensuring they are managed in line with NHS patient pathway contract requirements
- To liaise with consultants regarding clinic and slot management
- To be responsible for the timely management of the clinical coding of medical records
- To support the development of current processes in order to achieve a more efficient service to Spire's central services and commissioners
- To know how to provide analysis around referrals and appointments
- To be responsible for providing a high level of knowledge throughout the hospital around NHS systems and processes, mainly in the areas of appointments and referrals
**What we're looking for**:
- Computer and keyboard skills, comfortable in using MS Office (Word/Excel) and a variety of databases with quick and accurate data search and entry skills
