We are seeking to recruit a Peer Navigator with lived experience of multiple disadvantage to work alongside people who are experiencing the same disadvantages in life.

You will work intensively with each person to access and engage with a wide range of service provision including housing, probation, benefits and substance misuse services. You will work with passion and commitment so that people are empowered to lead a life in which they are making a positive contribution to their local community.

As part of the role your main responsibilities will be:

- To provide intensive 1:1 support to people experiencing multiple disadvantage to navigate their way through a series of appointments with services, including housing, benefits, substance misuse and probation.
- To support people in Blackpool to get involved in recovery communities, social activities and voluntary opportunities to address loneliness and social isolation.
- To prioritise a busy and challenging caseload.

To be a Peer Navigator we are looking for someone who has:

- An ability to form trusting relationships with people experiencing multiple disadvantage.
- Experience of developing positive and empowering relationships and to motivate and enthuse disaffected/excluded people.
- A great knowledge of Blackpool; its people, its problems and its potential.
- An ability to maintain a challenging caseload and prioritise accordingly.

**Interviews will take place on Friday 23rd February 2024**

**Salary**: £23,150.40 per year
