Bank Material Movement Operative

**Job summary**:
To undertake all operational RDP duties
Associated with the ordering/requisitioning receipt and temporary storage of goods and their subsequent distribution to end-users in accordance with agreed procedures and delivery schedules.
**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The bank worker will be required to carry out the below duties.
1. To receive, inspect and check all goods delivered to the RDP, reporting any discrepancies apparent from associated order copies and delivery receipt or documentation to be marked accordingly.
2. To carry out clerical work and computer entry associated with each receipt, posting certified order copy to Finance, as required.
3. To oversee or assist in the unloading and loading of vehicles, marshalling or securing containers in an orderly manner on receipt, for return to supplier or distribution to end users.
4. To deliver goods in an efficient, safe and secure manner to the correct end users, recording orders onto delivery run sheets and identifying to them any attractive or valuable items, also noting chargeable containers to be subsequently collected from them.
5. To collect roll cages and tote boxes from customers with minimum delay when empty and to immediately respond to any associated requests made via any agreed communication means i.e. pager/mobile.
6. To monitor, according to schedule, ward stock top-up levels and input requirement on EDC portable computers for local customer approval to transmit to store, as required.
7. To check and put away received goods into correct stock locations in the ward ensuring stock rotation.
8. To accurately pick goods from shelves/racking at the RDP using authorised requisitions and suitable pack for issue to customers.
