Workforce Project Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workforce Advisor to support a collaborative working project across both North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Our pathology services across the two Trusts will be working together as part of the Tees Valley Pathology Collaboration.

You will work closely with our senior managers within Pathology and HR colleagues involved in the programme.

The ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders is key to this role as you will be supporting colleagues through organisational change. You will need to be able to manage your own time well, prioritise tasks and have an eye for detail. Ideally you will have supported pieces of large scale project or change management work before or be able to effectively demonstrate how you would scale up previous organisational change programme experience. You will have experience of working with both unions and professional bodies.

NHS experience is beneficial although not essential, so too experience of working closely with both unions, professional bodies and stakeholders.

The post is a fixed term post and will be for a period of up to 12 months and is up to full time (37.5 hours).

The post holder will be required to travel across the two Trusts for attendance at discussions, formal meetings and one-to-one sessions. We also support our colleagues to be able to work from home at points and will provide the appropriate IT equipment to be able to do so.

The post holder can choose to be based at either of the two Trusts. This can be explored further at interview.

- To provide day to day operational support, advice and guidance to staff and managers within the Trust as part of the CDC programme.

- Participation in meetings and discussions with regards to all people actives aligned to the expansion of existing services. This will include workforce modelling, training trajectories, people development and recruitment initiatives.
- Actively develop imaginative and different ways of engaging both our current and future workforce through the use of available engagement tools.
- Provide advice and support to managers on a range of matters including project management and changes to service delivery linked to the programme where there may be a range of options and it may be necessary to refer/escalate appropriately where help cannot be provided.
