**Your part in our journey**:
We’re looking for a creative and customer-focused Brand and CX Copywriter who will take the lead in writing compelling customer communications, content and campaigns for the Shell Energy brand

We’re looking for a self-starter who’ll quickly be able to absorb our style guides and master our tone of voice to create content in a ‘Shell Energy’ way while collaborating with teams across our business.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Lead the creation of copy, content and campaigns collaborating with teams across the business including brand, CRM marketing, product, UX and customer journey

Develop and deliver creative content alongside in-house creatives, marketing and production teams, to produce exceptional branded content experiences

Take the lead in optimising Shell Energy’s messaging approaches so our customers receive accurate and consistent information across all touchpoints, presented in our tone of voice

Ensure the rest of the team is empowered to follow suit, by developing and maintaining the guides that steer us all as we create content

Develop content for the Shell Energy blog, including pitching ideas, and researching and writing articles, approaching copy with an SEO and performance mindset

Support other members of the team - reviewing copy produced and offering feedback

**What you will need to make the most of the role**:
Enthusiastic, self-motivated with great attention to detail

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a copywriting role

Evidence of strong copywriting skills supported by portfolio

Proven experience in copy and content optimisation

Ability to take feedback on board, offer and implement solutions

**The ‘nice to haves’**:
Copywriting/journalism qualifications (NCTJ)

Copywriting experience from a service sector industry
