**Job purpose/summary**

Providing accurate, timely and insightful grant reporting for CDP Global and CDP Worldwide, to satisfy both grant providers and internal stakeholders’ needs for grant-specific financial reporting.

**Key responsibilities**

Grant financial monitoring and reporting:
Support colleagues in meeting all grant financial reporting deadlines, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy
- Working within the team and with project managers to support internal project and funder reporting.
- Monthly cycle to ensure timesheet and cost data for projects is collated, reviewed with project managers and support CDP in maintaining timely, accurate and valid information.
- Gain relevant knowledge on all our grants/projects, build relationships within the global CDP wider finance, development and project teams, to enable business partnering and a key focus on:

- Understanding baseline agreed budgets and milestones for grants
- Work with grants compliance team to track financial reporting deadlines
- Supporting the automation and flow of data from various systems to enable faster and more accurate reporting
- Assisting finance with confirmation of Intercompany analysis of grant allocation, and income recognition, as well as grant cash scheduling and planning
- Helping to ensure the production of high-quality information on a timely basis
- Supporting finance team and auditors on any grant audit requirements
- Produce internal reports for the grant project management teams, working with them to ensure they have the required information to make up-to-date decisions

Systems improvement and automation
- Support the SAP enhancements and move to automation
- Work across teams to review timesheets, and the maintenance of Project codes

The precise description and nature of the role may be varied from time to time and other duties as necessary may be required to be carried out.

**Required skills and experience**
- Demonstrable experience working within NGO’s, in particular financial grant reporting, use of multiple currencies and business partnering with project teams
- Strong working skills in other MS Office Applications, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and One drive
- Experience in using Financial Systems such as SAP or Sage in multi-country geographies and currencies
- Proven confident and professional communication and business partnering skills to work across the organisation
- Dexterity and problem-solving skills, with a can do and positive attitude, to work in a growing and exciting environment

**Desired skills and experience (optional)**
- Working capability of SAP Business One
- Experience of directly using Power BI or equivalent tools and building reports and connections to databases
- Working with entities in India, China, Asia, Latin America and North America
- Experience of using ERP systems that encompass bid opportunities, through project management and then financial management and reporting

**Key relationships**

The roles key relationships will be with:

- CDP Global Development colleagues
- Project delivery teams globally
- All colleagues in the CDP Worldwide Finance Team
- CDP NA and CDP Europe’s Finance teams, on grant related matters

**Benefits**: Permanent role, £33,000 to £42,000 per annum depending on experience. 30 days holiday, non-contributory pension provision after 3 months employment.

- You will be expected to work in the London office 1-2 days per week on average
