**The Opportunity**

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to focus on business partnering, FP&A and value added analysis to all departments in Railsr.

The role is a highly commercial position interacting with CEO, CFO and company Investors and will suit someone with a problem solving mindset and a team oriented attitude who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is very comfortable operating in the detail. This role will be a good fit for someone currently in Senior Financial Analyst or Finance Manager role who thrives on responsibility, looking to add real value to a business work in a scaleup environment.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Lead on supporting the business with core fInancial planning, analysis and business partnering through financial analysis and modelling.
- Production and analysis of KPI and financial metrics to create recommendations for business decisions.
- Support customer & product profitability and product investment criteria and strategy, including identifying business risks and opportunities and creating mechanisms and reporting to improve our performance.
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior leaders across the organisation, supporting the Head of FP&A with all financial planning, analysis and Exco reporting.
- Support on management of third party contracts from a financial lens including renegotiations to drive value for the business.
- Supporting on wider finance activities as needed.
- Improve use of data, processes and controls within Finance and across the wider business.
- Work with wider finance team to build a controlled budgeting and month end analysis process and reporting outputs.
- Support any global Research and Development claims and capitalisation policy and data gathering.

**Your Profile**:

- Skills & Experience_
- Strong analysis skills and financial modelling
- Effective finance business partner, capable of advising, challenging and influencing key stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a very dynamic and fast paced environment and taking ownership for work.
- Willingness to learn and be flexible and support wider finance team work or priorities as needed.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with some relevant post qualified experience.
- Ideally some fintech / payments / SAAS or technology experience and an understanding of SAAS business models (or strong willingness to learn).
