Trainee Client Support Administrator

Lusona Financial Services are recruiting for a trainee client service administrator to join a busy IFA practice in Edinburgh City Centre. We are looking for someone who is currently working within an admin role within a busy environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Making client Appointments
- Opening and franking mail, scanning all relevant documentation to client file and updating back office system
- Typing up of the Client Factfinds
- Updating the pending work list on a daily basis
- Ensure client data is accurate and up to date on the back office system
- Welcome clients/visitors to the office by answering the telephone and door buzzer
- Preparing refreshments for office and client meetings
- Ensuring client files are compliant with FCA and Company guidelines
- General administrative duties such as photocopying and filing
**Further Responsibilities After Training**:
- Sending out Letters of Authority to life companies and chase up accordingly
- Issuing policy documentation
- Processing withdrawal and surrender requests and chase up accordingly
- Obtaining values for client reviews and preparing valuation reports
- Delivering research when requested
- Processing and chasing of new business, both paper based and online
- Process fund switches and rebalances
- Preparing incremental monies and rebalance reports from templates
**Requirements**:
- At least one year’s relevant experience within a Financial Services background
- Experienced using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer is essential
- Experience of Intelligent Office desirable but not essential
- Experience of using Platforms and Provider websites desirable but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines whilst managing and prioritising workload
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- Able to work as part of a team or, if required, under own initiative
This is a full-time office based position. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm.
