In this role, you'll play a vital role in promoting a sense of belonging within the community and supporting this cohort of young people to become more employable under the Starting Out delivery theme. This aims to help younger adults to make a good start to working life in early adulthood in order to achieve outcomes of longer-term healthy living and general well-being, and increase chances of a sustained working career, resilience against unemployment and economic downturn, and increase individuals’ ability to earn sufficient income to progress in personal and family life and contributing to communities.

Working in a small team of three, alongside the existing job coach team. You’re aim will be to support our customers to develop skills and engagement towards their employment future, build resilience, support identity, emotional wellbeing, self-esteem and inclusion. Promoting the benefits of employment and working with NEET young people with employability skills through to entering the world of work.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt. Experience in supporting individuals who are not in education, employment or training would be an advantage as well as having, a dedication to safeguarding, empathy for social inclusion, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Pay: £29,269.00-£31,364.00 per year
