Here at the **Mick George Group **we are hiring a **Customer Sales Assistant**
Place of Work - Huntingdon

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm

**Job Overview**:
The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer service focused individual who thrives in fast paced environment. Day to day answering the phone lines to our residential market, pricing our services, understanding what the works are and cross selling multiple services and products. Ensuring the customer has the ultimate experience where they can, using our systems to efficiently create the quotation, send to the customer and convert to an order.

The individual will be working within a team of strong sales members, they all play a key role on ensuring all enquiries & quotes are managed efficiently and orders are on the screen correctly ready for delivery.

The department needs a confident individual, who is willing to gain, understand and share market knowledge, be pro-active when necessary and continue to grow the residential & non-construction market. Multi-tasking is key to being able to manage the workload, prioritising tasks, decision making and high attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for first class customer experience to include:

- Being engaging and welcoming to our customers to build key relationships
- Answering and making phone calls
- Logging all enquiries, collating, and sending quotations
- Checking & raising purchase orders
- Communicating regularly with customers, managing expectations, ETAS, and updating on delays
- Portal support
- Invoice Queries & Ticket Requests
- Taking and booking on orders
- Always maintaining a professional standard whilst working in a high paced business
- Constant attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace high pressure environment
- Organising refunds for customers or arranging credits to be signed off by Supervisor
- Being willing to learn about the group to ensure all enquiries can be dealt with or passed to correct department efficiently.
- Setting up companies and individual site contacts on the portal.
- Diary management
- Diary/Inbox management for Sales across various inboxes, ensuring responses to quotes, queries and orders are in our SLAs
- Opening credit and pay as you go accounts for customers.
- Liaising with internal department such as transport to ensure best service is received by the customer
- Identify cross selling and up-selling opportunities and gather further information on enquiries.
- Identifying opportunities to Sales Executives from their pipeline for follow-up conversations, to support maintaining to a high standard
- General administration duties including report production, data analysis, completing supplier/ subcontractor questionnaires, scanning, producing proformas, organising tickets, printing, and filing.
- Any adhoc duties required for Sales Representatives.

**Skills/ Qualifications**:

- Computer literate & Microsoft Office Skills
- Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under instruction whilst using own initiative where necessary
- Highly organised with a polite and confident telephone manner
- Previous experience within the construction/ aggregates/ waste industry would be advantageous but not essential
- Driven and pro-active individual.
