As a Presales Operations Associate at Kainos, you will primarily support the Business Development team in identifying opportunities, disseminating messages and supporting early stage procurement responses.

You will also support our Business Intelligence and Market research capability in responding to specific research requests, to deliver actionable intelligence which will drive the growth of the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Identify tender opportunities and new frameworks for Kainos across public, private and healthcare sectors on a daily basis from multiple sources.
- Liaise with Kainos Business Development and Technology Practices in qualifying tender opportunities.
- Oversee the issuing of messaging from portals that relate to tender opportunities in qualification.
- Liaise with Business Development and Practice stakeholders to identify pipeline tender opportunities to help forecast presales demand.
- Work on early stage procurements (RFI, EoI, PQQ, DOS Evidence), source information from previous bids for their completion and liaise with Presales Content Analyst in updating existing collateral.
- Executing market research through multiple channels, including BI tools, market research, industry analysts, win-loss assessments, and primary and secondary research.
- Gather, store and disseminate key market intelligence information
- Account deep dives to identify organisational structure, future opportunities and possible routes into accounts.

**MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant commercial environment with broad IT experience.
- Awareness of procurement processes and sales lifecycle.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Capable of prioritising tasks with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.

- A self-starter who is highly motivated and proactive with respect to personal development.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and excellent written English communication skills.

**DESIRABLE**:

- Experience or exposure to Digital Services, Software Delivery or sales.
- Bid writing experience.
- Understanding of client tender evaluation and scoring processes.
- Previous experience of senior stakeholder engagement.
- Degree or Higher in IT, Economics, Finance, Information Management, Business Management, Sales and Marketing or a similar relevant discipline.
