Therefore, we are investing in a new workforce to lead this change, and we are actively recruiting now for a 2023 start, focused on change management, transforming work practices, and project delivery of goals and objectives.

**Opportunities: for Clinical Subject Matter Experts**:
We are excited to be recruiting in the Subject Matter Expert for Critical Care

As a Subject Matter Expert involved in the EHR Project you will be an experienced critical care nurse and highly credible among your colleagues. Subject Matter Experts play a key role in ensuring that the programme accurately captures and responds to clinical and operational needs and translates current workflows into the digital arena.

You will be required to work with the wider programme team to support the EHR rollout and transformation of HCA to our new digital system.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Provide specialist input to the HCA EHR Programme
- Host workshops to agree EHR system configuration specific to critical care
- Attend events and workflow testing as required
- Provide input concerning National standards and local policies and protocols specific to critical care and the wider healthcare arena
- Work with the project manager to ensure activities are delivered on timeFocus on patient safety during system configuration and go-live
- Identify, evaluate and respond to risks associated to the EHR programme and the introduction of an EHR
- Collaborate to produce testing and training materials to help ensure clinical and operational stability.
- Specialist Degree Qualification, registered body clinical body and pin where appropriate, relevant to specialist area, or equivalent experience.
- Post qualification experience in critical care,
- Excellent customer care and leadership skills to be the bridge between HCA clinical business, IT, project teams and our implementation and solution partners
- Proactive individual who is solution and delivery focused with the ability to adapt and work in a fast paced environment, responding to the needs of a changing and diverse project
