**Your new company**
A chance to join an organisation who are a provider to the NHS, they are responsible for the procurement and contracts that allow NHS trusts to buy products needed for all service. The work that you will do will help get best outcomes for both the NHS and patientsalike.
**Your new role**
This role is part of a major national category. There are 10 frameworks within this category spanning a broad range of services and goods. The main duties of the role include
- Managing market category across multiple trusts
- Understanding the market industry trends, product & service options and best practice
- Ensuring stakeholder and supplier engagement, in development of the category strategy to identify product innovation, best practice, process improvement and efficiency opportunities
- Managing supplier relationships during the strategy/sourcing process
- Managing performance against programme targets and ensuring best value for money
- Supporting the Senior Category Manager in the delivery of category plans
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have experience in a procurement or supply chain role as well as
- An understanding of Public Contract Regulations (PCR2015)
- Demonstrable experience in been able to show good commercial acumen, attention to detail and previous category knowledge
- Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain an extensive network of contacts within the category
- Good analytical skills
- Good organisational and time keeping skills with the ability to respond well under pressure.
