Sheffield, United Kingdom Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are currently recruiting for Category Procurement Specialists, to join us at NOE CPC. We offer a number of great benefits, excellent terms and conditions, and we support development.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Facilities and Office Solutions Team.

The role will work closely with the Senior Category Manager(s) and/or Associate Director within the CMSP for Facilities and Office Solutions and will include extensive engagement with both the NHS, Supply Chain Coordination Ltd (SCCL) and supplier organisations, in order to ensure procurement solutions are established, genuinely met and to deliver against the need to drive down cost, which in turn is put back into patient care.

You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a passion to make a positive difference within our NHS.

You should be able to demonstrate strong personal skills, a sound understanding of public procurement, together with both experience and enthusiasm for your category area. Whilst being a good communicator, have a strong customer focused ethos and broad commercial acumen.

About NOE CPC;
North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) is hosted by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT).

A wholly NHS owned organisation NOE CPC brings together a wealth of experience, understanding and knowledge, providing collaborative procurement and commercial solutions to the wider NHS and is one of the leading players in collaborative procurement within the NHS in England.

We work with our customers both collectively and individually to build an understanding of what they and their patients need. We then use our expertise to deliver procurement, contracts and framework solutions that drive down costs and provide better customer and patient experiences.

We provide compliance through commitment and partnership, doing so by drawing on our rich and varied capabilities as well as strength of relationships with our members and suppliers.

The NHS is having to change to meet expectations of better care, improved information sharing and more choice, all delivered on a tighter budget.

NOE CPC is striving to support these changes. We are part of the NHS and we understand the NHS. We recognise the challenges health organisations are facing and are committed to working with them to improve value for money and in turn support front line patient care.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. As a teaching trust with strong links to local universities, we are a centre of excellence for teaching, research and development.

There are many benefits of working for LYPFT including fantastic employee wellbeing support, 27 - 33 days annual leave, flexible working and remote working arrangements, the NHS Pension Scheme (LYPFT pays 20.6% into your scheme each year), coaching, support and opportunities for career development and training and education support alongside a range of exclusive discounts and payment schemes including for cars, extra leave days and more organisations such as Blue Light Card, Health Service Discounts and NHS Discount Offers.

We also have an incredible bank department, offering variety of roles in nursing, allied health professions, healthcare support worker and administration clerical. Permanent employees are automatically added to bank. Bank-only workers can choose the hours they want to work and will have the opportunity to gain additional experience, keep skills up to date, develop new ones and earn extra money without having to commit to a permanent role.

Our expertise in public procurement provides the support and tools necessary for making informed purchasing decisions. We aim to improve efficiency in health care organisations, save them time and money, offer flexibility and choice, and ultimately to improve the care offered to patients and service users. Our commitment to the NHS is driven by a wish to improve quality in all we do.
