Commercial Account Handler Job, Luton, paying up to £35,000, working for a leading Global Lloyd's Broker.
Your new company
Your new job as a Commercial Account Handler will be working for a Global Lloyd's Broker who are leading within the London market and have rapidly expanded. More recently, completing over 140 acquisitions they specialise in both insurance and reinsurance corporaterisks. You will be working within a well-respected and dynamic team who are an employer of choice. Due to such substantial growth, a permanent position for a Commercial Account Handler within their Luton office a new position has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as an Account Handler will be handling UK and International Commercial risks. You will be responsible for providing a quality service in support of the account in order to obtain optimum account retention and growth, via the account management,broking and technical support. Preparing documentation for new and existing customers in relation to their insurance requirements, renewals and mid-term adjustments. You will be obtaining renewal terms for customers and identifying potential alternative quotationsbefore producing presentations for account managers to. Responsible for confirming cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation. Other duties will include dealing and assisting with Insurer and Customer queries in relationto existing customer policies as well as liaising with Insurers regarding potential changes and new terms for policies. Depending on the Government rules and when it is safe to do so, travel to Luton will be essential.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Account handler dealing with Commercial risks will lead to your success. You will be able to travel to Luton once it is safer to do so. You will ideally have or be in progression towards Cert CII. Good communicationskills, both written and verbal as well as good interpersonal skills. You will have excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team.
