**About The Role**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Commercial Executive - Protein** to join our team here at Forza Foods. This is an exciting time to be joining IPL, Forza & Kober as we support Asda on their journey to becoming #2 in the marketplace.
Reporting to the **Commercial Manager - Protein** the **Commercial Executive - Protein** will support the JBP's delivery for the Protein portfolio, ensuring we maximise the delivery of opportunities for generating revenue and profit growth for Asda across the Protein portfolio. This will play its part in ensuring ASDA’s commercial targets are met, with the overall objective of delivering above market share growth for Asda and its ambition to be #2 in the market.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Works with and through the Commercial Manager-Protein, supporting the day-to-day commercial operations for the Protein portfolio.
- Working with the Commercial Accountants and Commercial Manager, taking responsibility for building a robust and profitable promotional plan and ensuring strong communication internally for planning and forecasting purposes
- Support the Commercial and Supply Chain Team on forecasting, understands and can deliver the planning requirements for the business, ensuring an accurate 52-week forecast is available. Monitor orders, as well as availability and waste, interfacing with the Asda Protein Retail and Supply teams where necessary.
- Work with the Commercial Managers to review product costings, understanding the financial elements of the business to maximise profitability within the business; understands a financial P&L and can incorporate this detail into the day-to-day role.
- Represent Commercial Team in Cross functional meetings.
- Work as part of the commercial Triangle - Sales / NPD / Category
- Responsible for New Line Forms, RCCS and internal range documentation including Promotional Proposals.
- Through regular store visits, be up to date with relevant market intelligence such as competitor ranges, merchandising layouts and pricing, demonstrating a good understanding of ASDA’s strategies and performance.
- Sign off new packaging and changes to existing packaging in terms of commercial elements.
**What are we looking for?**
- 2-3 years’ experience in a supportive commercial and/or administrative role gained within Retail or FMCG manufacturing environment
- Experience of interfacing with UK Retailers desirable but not essential
- A real passion for food and retail
- Organised approach with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- IT literate, proficient in Excel and other Microsoft packages. Ability to learn and adapt to new MI systems
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Organised approach with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Team player and support the team wherever necessary
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Able to take ownership of a task and see it through to the end
