**PARTS ADVISOR / CUSTOMER SERVICE ROLE**
**Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1630 | 40 hour working week**
**Salary: £12.38 hourly rate**

**What you will do**
As a Parts Advisor in our Carlisle site, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
We are looking for a Parts Advisor focused on Customer Service, who is a driven individual to provide our Customers with a professional and helpful service whilst promoting sales of the Workshop Services and Products.
You will:
- Be the first contact for customers, identifying service parts requirements and assist in preparing orders are taken & supplied to the correct specification to meet those customers needs.
- Ensure that procedures are correctly carried out for the ordering of goods and their receipt, assisting with the serve counter and helping team members when necessary.
- Ensure that invoices/credits are properly and accurately raised for goods supplied or returned by informing customers of completion times and payment methods.
- Contacting customers if any additional work is required and issue accurate quotations to gain the necessary authority to complete works.
- Ensure warranty claim, VCM and special claims are correctly, maintaining an efficient filing and retrieval system.
- Assist management & arrangement of customer vehicle workshop booking inspections, servicing and repairs.
- Assist with customer complaints are courteously and efficiently handled & processed.
- Ensure that the administration office is kept clean and tidy and that equipment is in good condition reflecting the image of an efficient and modern Retail Dealer Point.
- Attend any training or development activity that is made available.
- Participate in workshop production/customer service administration team meetings.
This role you will provide excellent service supplying HGV parts to technicians who are carrying out the repairs and maintenance to vehicles in the workshop along with providing excellent service to customers both over the counter and by telephone.

- Driving License preferred
- Able to identify different parts using catalogues and systems, experience of working with vehicle parts is essential
- Numerical ability to be able to work with part numbers
- Able to communicate with all levels, written and verbally with people inside the company and external customers.
- IT literate to competently use DMS and associated software systems.
- Proactive, enthusiastic and approachable
- Commercial awareness with great customer service
- Flexible and positive approach to changing circumstances and priorities
- Work as a team player along with at times working independently with an open and honest outlook.
