Provide exceptional Food & Beverage and Housekeeping service to our guests.
- Ensure that all guest areas are well maintained, carry out back of house duties as well as ensure all service preparation is timeously done.
- Provide breakfast, lunch and dinner service each day and carry out cleaning, mis en place. and maintenance duties.
- Bar - service of drinks and canapés in the Observation car pre-lunch and dinner, afternoon tea service and the preparation and service of ‘welcome back’ drinks. Carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Cleaning the guest’s room and public areas according to departmental standards.
- Replacing guest beds with clean linen.
- Report any maintenance defects in the rooms and corridors when necessary.
- Ensure that all assigned rooms are clean and inspected by the end of your shift.
- Performs any other Housekeeping related duties as assigned by Management.
- Assist with guest laundry.
- Assist with general on-board duties - including, but not limited to, assisting with greeting guests and helping with luggage as well as supporting other operational departments as required.
- To be fully conversant with all services, food and beverage items, housekeeping services and to have a broader knowledge of the areas in which we operate and the Company portfolio.
- To maintain of all guest areas, stores and any other related areas, using systems in place to monitor and record all actions taken.
- To comply with HACCP, Food Hygiene Good Practice, Cleaning Controls, Pest Management, TRS H&S systems and other Rail Related Practices.
- To be as environmentally aware as possible in all that you do.
- To maintain both team, personal, customer and non-customer facing areas to the highest of standards and always present oneself immaculately.

**Requirements**:

- Hospitality qualification advantageous.
- 1- 2 years relevant experience in a similar position within the luxury hospitality environment.
- COSHH knowledge and awareness.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- The ability to work in high pressure situations.
- Good knowledge and understanding of food and wine.
- Time management skills.Ability to follow instructions & work independently when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Good knowledge and understanding of food and wine.
- Basic knowledge of bar menu items and recipes.
- Working knowledge of housekeeping principals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
