**Duration**: This is a temporary position from 17 June - 6 September 2024. There are two working patterns available:
**Working pattern 1** consists of a minimum of 35 hours between 07:30-18:00 daily Monday to Sunday although additional hours may be required to meet business requirements. Your shifts will be on a rota basis.

**Working pattern 2** consists of a minimum of 16 hours between 07:30-18:00 daily Monday to Sunday although additional hours may be required to meet business requirements. Your shifts will be on a rota basis.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure access to the stands remains restricted as required.
- Assist in manual handling duties as required.
- Ensure the site is kept tidy and clean, removing rubbish as required.
- Conduct safety and security checks as instructed and report all faults back to Site Safety Supervisor.
- Conduct accreditation checks.
- Maintain security awareness.
- Issue equipment as instructed by line manager.
- Be able to identify hazards, and report to line manager.
- Investigate any disturbances or incidents, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Ensure combustible refuse does not accumulate and remove as appropriate.
- Respond to emergencies (such as early stages of a fire), raising the alarm and taking the necessary immediate action.
- Be polite, welcoming, and friendly to all members of the public, answering questions about the event and site as required.
- Present a positive impression of the company and uphold our values in all activity.
- Look after all documentation and equipment issued to you for the purpose of carrying out your duties.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Presentable, polite, confident, approachable, and helpful.
- Ability to follow instruction.
- Ability to assist in manual handling as required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to form and maintain positive working relationships.
- A positive attitude.
- Over 18 years of age.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience in a customer care environment or public facing role.
- Previous stewarding/ site steward / event experience.
- Foreign language skills.
- First Aid.
- Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence holder.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2.5 months

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- United Kingdom (required)
