Duration:
This is a temporary position from 23 June - 30 August 2023. Both full-time (3) and part-time (1) options are available. Full-time hours are approximately 40 hours per week, part-time hours are approximately 20 hours. Working hours will be arranged between 0800-1800 Monday - Sunday on a rota basis.

Training on 23 June 2023.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure no public access to stands.
- Assist with handover of Esplanade to stewarding team.
- Conduct accreditation checks.
- Maintain security awareness.
- Conduct security sweep of stands daily.
- Coordinate vehicle access calendar.
- Manage key register, and issue site keys to stakeholders as required.
- Manage Tattoo vehicle access to Esplanade, liaising closely with HES staff to communicate vehicle access details.
- Carry out pre-event safety checks in designated area, ensuring that all safety equipment is in place and there are no hazards.
- Investigate any disturbances or incidents, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Ensure combustible refuse does not accumulate.
- Respond to emergencies (such as early stages of a fire), raising the alarm and taking the necessary immediate action.
- Communicate with Event Control in the event of an emergency.
- Be polite, welcoming, and friendly.
- Present a positive impression of the company and uphold our values in all activity.
- Look after all documentation and equipment issued to you for the purpose of carrying out your duties.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Training:

- Written and verbal literacy.
- Approachable and helpful.
- Confident.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to form and maintain positive working relationships.
- A positive attitude.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- Over 18 years of age to comply with licence requirements.
- Previous stewarding/ site steward / event experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Castlehill, EH1 2YT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
