ERS Consultants Ltd was founded in 2006 as energy, sustainability & design consultants. We provide energy compliance services, MEP design services, environmental assessment services, BREEAM, CfSH and building validation certification. We employ a team of specialists who are experts in their field, including Chartered Engineers, BREEAM assessors, Part L assessors, dynamic thermal modelling specialists and building validation specialists.

**The Role**:
As a graduate/trainee sustainability Consultant you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of sustainability and Building Regulations assessments in the built environment. Primarily this will include undertaking SAP and SBEM assessments of new and existing dwellings. Knowledge of SAP and SBEM is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Within the role you will be working on high profile projects within the Residential and Commercial Sectors, including working on Energy Strategies for planning and regulatory compliance.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Educated to degree level or more in Engineering, Architecture or the Built Environment, and with demonstrable experience of working in the built environment, you will have gained experience in a relevant sustainability role.
- Previous placement or work experience in a similar industry is an advantage
- An understanding of CAD or similar modelling software is an essential
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- A friendly, ambitious and confident individual with a flexible and resilient approach
