We have a new exciting role come in for an Estates Data Administrator to join Thames Valley Police on a permanent contract.

You will be working at their Police Headquarters in Kidlington, You will be working 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 15:20 Friday with 30 mins lunch break.

The overall purpose of the role is to: Manage the capture, retrieval, analysis and reporting of estate data for the annual NPEG benchmarking exercise. Work with and provide support to the
Facilities Systems Supervisor (FSS) to ensure the maintenance of the department's Computer
Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO POLICE VETTING YOU MUST HAVE BEEN RESIDING WITHIN THE UK FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS CONTINUOUSLY.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS:
- Carry out an annual benchmarking exercise to compare the performance of TVP's buildings against other forces. Collate data from various sources and submit using a standard template. This particular area of responsibility will also involve/require closeliaison with the Strategy and Assets Manager
- Under the direction of the Facilities System Supervisor, and working alongside the CAFM Systems Administrator, act as system administrator for the force wide CAFM system, performing activities relating to the following: a. Loading and updating of data onall TVP buildings. b. Allocation of tasks to facilities staff and contractors. c. On a weekly basis, monitor completion of tasks and report any failures. d. Load reports covering all a wide range of building system and H&S inspections. e. Produce reports toassist in the management and monitoring of systems.
- Using information from monthly energy and water suppliers bills record usage for TVP sites. Collate into annual data to provide CO2 emissions to support the work of the Energy and Sustainability Manager. Working with the CAFM Systems Administrator ensureall meter information is stored on system. Assist in the preparation of data for reports for the Energy and Sustainability manager.
- Support the Strategy and Assets and Maintenance teams in particular, but others as required, for their ad-hoc requirements.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ROLE
- Good standard of education with GCSEs (Grade 9-4/A-C) in English and Maths or equivalent.
- Experience of working in an office environment, and the use of IT software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of generic databases.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, internal clients and external consultants.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team, providing support and assistance as required.
- Ability to travel across Thames Valley when required. Working hours and level of flexibility are specific to each role and will be discussed at interview
- Relevant further educational qualification in a related field.
- Substantial direct and relevant experience within the building and estate management profession, together with a working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation in this field.
