As a Data Product Owner on the Transformation Programme you will effectively lead and focus delivery of the key data capabilities and platform adoption to our business customers. Your key priorities will focus around managing Cytora, a digital risk processing platform, and early adoption deliveries practically accelerating delivery to meet the central Allianz Group focus and ACM (Allianz Customer Model) requirements.

As a Data Product Owner you will be a leading member of the Scrum team, supporting change throughout the full development process from concept to delivery. You will evaluate all opportunities and prioritise what gets built and delivered through a clear and concise backlog. You’ll need to be a seasoned data professional with a technical mind and an appreciation for business value, as well as an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills in order to gain greater insight of data requirements and effectively drive Allianz UK Data Strategy.

This is what may be a part of your daily job:

- You will form part of Data Transformation team and will focus on leading data delivery for the Cytora programme.
- Lead an agile delivery team focused on delivering end to end data products, with particular focus on customer value
- Collaborate with Data stakeholders and Transformation leadership with the aim of reaching a consistent vision of data delivery, its building blocks, as well as the technology requirements
- Identify and liaise with the wider business and key stakeholders including Allianz Group to drive decisions and respond to local and Global requirements
- You’ll be working alongside enterprise and solution architects to develop data products in scope including Global Data Platform adoption.
- You will manage dialogue with external data suppliers as well as represent Data work stream to senior stakeholders.
- Lead and perform analysis and develop foundational data products for Cytora and that will help hundreds of staff in supporting our customers, and influence our business strategy.
- You will support the definition and implementation of our single view of the customer which is currently being delivered via Cytora MDM (Master Data Management) workstream.
- Drive adoption of Data Ownership framework in Allianz UK
- Drive a better understanding of the value of data with stakeholders and users and contribute to improvements in data management and data quality.
- Maintain relationship with our business customers, in order help to identify improvement opportunities by understanding specific business area’s value drivers and help recommend value-driven solutions to key stakeholders, especially with regards to implementation of Cytora.

This is what you will need to feel comfortable in your role:

- Have an in depth technical understanding and business outlook on Data Management implementation in large, multidivisional organisation. Value extraction and presentation, setting up core processes, associated policies and scaling them up.
- Experience with some of the contemporary analytical and data management tools (like: Informatica Axon/EDC, IBM InfoSphere, Microstratey), or confidence you will learn them fast;
- Understanding of cloud technology and data modelling will be advantageous.
- Experience working in a project environment or managing large items of work
- ideally in the context of data.
- Experience of working on international data projects.
- Commercially minded. Able to link technical investment to value and re-use
- Entrepreneur navigating legacy to drive process and cultural change
- Adaptable to working in an agile environment
- Able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders
- An inquisitive mind to join data and business value across a complex landscape
- Comfortable balancing day to day operational priority data activities alongside project commitments
