**Location - Newcastle, Permanent (Hybrid - once fully competent in the role)**

**Shift - **Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 and Saturdays (1 in 3) 08:00 -13:00, 36 hours per week.

We’re looking for a Claims Handler (Third Party Assist Team).

In this specialist role you will proactively contact and convert ‘non fault’ third parties to take advantage of our repair and mobility services and solutions, whilst providing a high standard of customer service

Ideally you will come from an insurance background and either have experience in motor insurance or an interest in this. If you have a persuasive, engaging personality we’d also love to hear from you

**Training**

Excellent Training provided. You’ll start your journey with 6-8 weeks of onsite training to give you the best start and tools in your career. Training for this role will be office based on Monday to Friday 09:00 -17:00, 36 hours per week and once confirmed competent in role you’ll have the opportunity to move to hybrid working if certain criteria is met.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Proactively offering the benefits of using our network of repairers and hire providers to ‘non fault’ third parties.
- Using a variety of communication approaches to contact third parties to help them manage their predicament, building rapport and a positive relationship to help deliver the right outcome for the third party and Tesco Bank.
- Negotiating effectively with third party stakeholders and suppliers to ensure a ‘fair settlement’ is achieved for both the third-party claimant and Tesco Bank.
- Proactively managing the department priorities such as monitoring ongoing hire and repair.
- Identifying and reporting any concerns in relation to potential fraud or instances of identified fraud, act as appropriate.
- Negotiating effectively to control costs.
