Assistant Health Records Team Leader

To be responsible to the Head of Medical Records for the day to day provision of a comprehensive, confidential and effective medical records service to the Trust.
The post holder supports the daily management of the library, clinic prep function and Scanning Bureau ensuring that every patient has their casenotes (paper/electronic) available at the time of their clinical care.
There is a requirement to work at other locations, such as Wycombe Hospital Medical Records.
To support the Senior Team Leader and System Administrator, in the management of the Scanning Bureau team, in the provision of a responsive, effective and efficient service to the Trust ensuring that the team perform to the agreed operating procedures on a daily basis.
To support the Senior Team Leader in ensuring that all work areas are adequately staffed to cover the service by the use of forward planning and employing a flexible approach to meet any changes in workload.
Supports the System Administrator manage the daily errors in the scanning software.
To ensure that all stationery and scanning separators are in place within the Scanning Bureau.
To work with the Health Records management team and other team members to manage changes to the provision of the Medical Records service.
