Exciting opportunity to work with a global retail and FMCG brand who are a rapidly growing organisation and work with household names in the UK. They are currently looking for a Junior Account Manager to have responsibility for developing key accounts, assistwith growth strategies, driving the full P&L management of selection within key customers and the development of new business.

**Description**

As a Junior Account Manager, you will be tasked with driving the full P&L management of selection within key customers and the development of new business, and the emphasis will very much be on your to show how you can deliver and profitably grow this businesschannel. They key responsibilities of the role are:

- Build, manage and negotiate all elements of pricing, terms and promotions within Business guidelines. Creating the channel's pricing architecture.
- Support the development of the UK channel strategy, presented with analysis and highlighting opportunities and risks on a quarterly basis to the Senior Leadership Team
- Ability to network and influence throughout the retail matrix space, joining up internal and external teams to deliver maximum efficiency.
- Application of Category Management; influence the necessary strategies to deliver profit growth by delivery to the consumer needs, i.e. manage the product mix to maximise margin
- Drive distribution of existing and new products within the given account portfolio and prospective account list and in full alignment with the company's strategies.
- Delivering the channel's trade and preview events, managing effective communication of brands' plans to retailer base.
- Deliver KPIs for top retailers, and ensure annual goals are achieved including turnover and promotional spend
- Manage effective communication of Brands and Category solutions. Execute all points of purchase to the highest standard
- Working within the Customer Development Team, manage the promotional execution database and template with evaluation of promotional activity and corresponding reports back to the wider team
- Full management of responsibility of UK independent trade investment. Exercising control and ensuring no overspending whilst maximising any agreed activity with positive ROI
- Full management and responsibility of the channel's forecast
- Add value outside of the JD via initiatives, creative ideas and special projects

**Profile**

The ideal Junior Account Manager will have:

- Proven track record of developing & implementing successful partnerships
- Demonstrated experience building and/or significantly upgrading sales capability including appropriate performance tracking processes and reward mechanisms. i.e developing and executing JBP's
- Experience of working cross-functionally within focused Marketing & category management
- Broader commercial experience; an effective operator as part of a team i.e confidence to deliver the company wide strategies to internal and external parties.
- Solid understanding of promotional mechanisms and calendars, ROI awareness and understanding when to say yes/ no.
- Highly numerical & analytical - i.e able to build a full pricing and marketing proposal, creation of supporting work sheets (i.e Pivot tables) that lead to clear analyse of sales data and performance.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
