**Hours**:Monday to Friday 40 hours per week inclusive of 1 hour unpaid break
**Salary**: £25,000 per annum

Our multi-temperature distribution fleet allows us to deliver a wide variety of ambient, chilled and frozen products from the same vehicles. We serve an ever-expanding customer base within the food industry which ranges from traditional organisations through to new companies catering for the latest convenience markets.
**Purpose of Job**:
To ensure that work allocated is completed accurately and within defined timescales, assisting and working flexibly to help and assist with the general operations of the department, together with any other duties necessary for the effective and efficient running of the department and business.
**Main Duties**:
- Daily Posting of cash receipts
- Daily reconciliation of the bank accounts
- Monthly overhead analysis and reporting
- Assist in the preparation and updating of daily cashflow forecasts
- Raising of non-trade sales invoices
- Assisting with the raising of Commercial Invoices for export as required
- Assist/Cover of the Bako Group ledgers ensuring invoices & expenses are approved in-line with the delegations of authority.
- Monthly management of the company credit card statements and reconciliation.
- Assist/Cover of Intercompany trade reconciliations
- Assisting and providing information for Auditors
- Assisting with Budget and forecast preparation
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual Tax Pack
- Providing holiday cover/support for colleagues in the finance team if required
- Any other ad hoc tasks/projects as and when required
- You may also be required to undertake other duties which are deemed to be within the business needs.
**Job Requirements**:
**ESSENTIAL**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- GCSE Maths and English, level 5 or above
- Excellent IT skills (Good knowledge of Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Proven Team Player
- Strong commercial acumen
- Self Motivated and Enthusiastic
**DESIRABLE**
- Flexibility to travel to other sites as required
- Experience of accounting for stock
