**ABOUT US**

Our Boys2Men programme improves lives and outcomes of young men involved in or on the cusp of criminality and have come to the attention of local agencies. The programme enables young men to understand child to adult transition, exploring the idea of the effect of role models, both positive and negative within family and in peer groups, including gangs and on youth development. It challenges young men to consider how their individual behaviour impacts their lives and the lives of others, whilst offering a safe and supportive space for reflection and personal growth.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a Project Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading and implementing our Boys2Men programme which aims to provide positive role modelling and mentorship to young men aged 15-27 years old. You will facilitate 1-2-1’s, group sessions and workshops to engage and support young men in developing life skills, emotional intelligence and leadership abilities. By building community engagement and establishing strong mentor-mentee relationships with programme participants, you will provide guidance, encouragement and support in their personal development journey and you will build positive relationships with parents, guardians, schools and community partners to promote programme participation and support the young men’s overall well-being. As a valued member of our dynamic team, you will proactively work in collaboration to design, develop and deliver age-appropriate content that aligns with the programme's goals and objectives.

**ABOUT YOU**

Most importantly, you are an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people and you have the experience and passion for this exciting role that really can transform lives. A qualification in youth, youth justice, community or family support work would be desirable, however we would like to see some experience of working with children and young people who are facing challenges. Your practice-based experience has given you the knowledge and skills of working within legislation relating to young people and your self-motivation to adapt and learn, has seen you deliver quality outcomes. Your approachable, confident and persuasive nature has demonstrated that you can engage and connect with young people by supporting them through being a good listener, by showing empathy and by being dependable. As an organised team player, you have demonstrated your drive to work in collaboration to bring about the very best outcomes for the community you serve.
