An exciting opportunity has arisen for Homeless Support Workers (Grade 4) to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing essential support and care to those temporarily residing in hotels as part of our homeless provisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supportive Care**: Offer compassionate and person-centered support to individuals experiencing homelessness, fostering a safe and inclusive environment within hotel accommodations.
- **Daily Assistance**: Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their basic needs are met, and provide guidance on accessing relevant services.
- **Empowerment**: Encourage and empower individuals to regain independence, promoting self-esteem and confidence-building.
- **Safety and Security**: Maintain a secure and orderly environment, adhering to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- **Communication**: Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident interactions and any incidents, following data protection guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant social care setting.
- Passion for supporting vulnerable populations.
- Ability to work empathetically and without judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- **Enhanced DBS clearance.**

**Salary**: £12.38 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
