Our client is a respected social housing provider based in Lewes and have approached ourselves in the assistance of a Human Resources Advisor to work on a permanent basis. The salary for the role starts at £28,630 per annum with 37 hours per week.

A brief summary of the main duties are below:

- To Act as lead / initial point of contact for managers on employee relations / performance management issues
- To manage individual cases relating to grievance, capability, sickness, attendance, probation and disciplinary issues, providing dedicated, accurate and timely support and guidance to operational managers as required
- To attend disciplinary, capability, grievance and sickness interviews as required;
- To provide advice, and guidance on a spectrum of employment and HR issues to managers and staff
- To attend management and team meetings as required, visiting area offices and services as appropriate
- Be responsible for risk assessments relating to positive DBS checks;
- Be responsible for dealing with positive occupational health declarations;
- Liaise with recruiting managers when poor references have been received.
- To monitor developments in employment law and other requirements and recommend appropriate action
- To review and update H.R. policies and procedures
- Inform the Senior HR Advisor and HR Manager on the progress of individual cases and be responsible for updating the case load matrix
