- **Days of work** - Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat
**Rate of pay**: £11.05
As a **Yard Operative** you be responsible for **ensuring that the yard is kept clean and tidy and well managed at all times**. You will be expected to **ensure that all food waste is split into the various avenues of removal. ** You will need to work **effectively to manage all pallets so that they are stacked correctly and safely, placed neatly into their respective categories and loaded into the pallet trailer ready for collection.**
You will need to make sure you are **adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure your own safety and the others around you**.
**Key Duties
-**:

- To ensure that the yard area is kept clear and well managed at all times
- To ensure all food waste is separated into their specific streams
- Ensure that pallets are separated into their respective categories
- Ensure that our waste streams are disposed of as per instruction and training.
- To load and unload trailers as per the requirements of the business
- Support other functions in maintaining waste standards
- Report progress and issues to the Facilities Coordinator
- The location of the job is Chalker Way, Banbury and you will need to be able to get to this location on your own accord - there is a free car park available and Banbury train station is a 20-minute walk away._** It is commutable from Northampton,Birmingham, Corby, Kettering, Rugby, Bedford, Northamptonshire, Banbury, Towcester, Milton Keynes, Daventry, Roade, Hunsbury, Olney, Wellingborough, Thrapston, Moulton, Rothersthorpe, Kislingbury, Bugbrooke, Blisworth, Weedon, Watford, Long Buckby, Wolverton,Cosgrove, Castlethorpe, Newport Pagnell, Emberton, Woolaston, Rushden, Irchester, Higham Ferrers, Irthlingborough, Bedford, Luton, Toddington, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Brackley, and Buckingham.
